Territory Account Manager - Carolinas

Daxor Corporation is seeking a driven sales professional with a passion for clinical sales, relationship-building, and expanding the use of innovative diagnostics and radiopharmaceuticals.

This is a high-impact, sales-driven position where you will manage and grow a portfolio of clinician driven accounts. The role is field-based and client-facing, so you’ll work closely with prescribers and care teams to drive adoption and growth of Daxor’s Blood Volume Analysis (BVA™) technology in both physician office and hospital settings.

  • Candidates must be based in North Carolina/South Carolina and willing to travel frequently
  • Candidates must live close to a major airport
  • Candidates outside this region will not be considered
  • Candidates must have proven sales experience with documented top performance
  • Cardiovascular sales experience a plus
  • Physician Office Sales as well as Hospital Sales Experience 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, including physician offices, physician office labs (POLs), hospitals and outpatient clinics
  • Build and expand relationships with prescribers and key stakeholders within the account
  • Develop a strategic approach to growing your business and achieving sales targets. Demonstrate effective: account qualification and assessment, forecasting, & strategic planning utilizing the Strategic Selling Sales Methodology
  • Troubleshoot clinical workflow, reimbursement, and integration issues
  • Conduct clinical data reviews to support quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop a pipeline of new account opportunities and drive contracting and onboarding efforts
  • Effective and timely management of business processes, including customer contracting, price quotes, customer complaints, quarterly business reviews, Blue Sheets, expense management and RAMP expense reporting
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support customer success to include customer and technical services, marketing and the Chief Medical Officer
  • Effective communication and collaboration with field sales team and field management team
  • Responsible for initiating account contacts, conducting high level sales call activity, providing clinical support
  • Maintains regular contact with current and potential accounts in the assigned territory to maintain product usage and growth
  • Establish an understanding of reimbursement policies for both physician offices as well as hospital-based product placements both inpatient and outpatient
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Experience selling medical devices, laboratory diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals within the healthcare industry with a focus on cardiovascular sales 
  • Background in account management or business development with a proven acumen for deep clinical conversations
  • 5+ years of sales experience in healthcare settings, including physician offices, physician office labs, hospitals and outpatient clinics
  • Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field a plus
  • This role requires candidates to be based in North Carolina, or South Carolina
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a territory
  • Strong presentation, communication, and technical skills
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Google Workspace
  • Ability to travel extensively by car and occasionally by plane

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary commensurate with experience
  • Car allowance and travel expenses provided
  • Total Compensation (including performance-based incentives): $145,000 to $200,000 + per year
  • Uncapped variable compensation

Nuclear Medicine & Radiopharmaceutical Production Technologist – Oak Ridge, TN

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Overview

We are a leading edge medical technology company that has an immediate opening for a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The position offers a unique variety of duties and may require occasional travel to medical facilities. This person must be eager to learn and be willing to accept other areas of responsibility as their knowledge of the business expands.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests in Daxor’s reference lab per formal protocols.
  • Maintain working relationships with ordering physicians and Nuclear Medicine staff at existing customer sites.
  • Team with Sales to introduce product offerings and educate prospective clients.
  • Perform equipment quality checks & monitoring activities. Formally document results according to SOP’s.
  • Accurately document test methods, protocols, procedures, and results in compliance with FDA cGMP, radiation health safety, and State regulations.
  • Responsible for set-up and cleaning of lab equipment and scheduling vendor maintenance and calibration as required.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of QC/QA practices.
  • Assist & support other Daxor teammates as or when required.

Desirable Qualifications

  • NMTCB-CNMT or AART(N) certification and related work experience.
  • Have thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and guidelines governing administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Working knowledge of lab equipment and software.
  • Willingness to obtain applicable DOT/IATA certifications required to ship dangerous goods.
  • Detail oriented self-starter with good analytical problem solving skills.
  • Sense of urgency and the ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Permanent legal right to work in the United States required.

Cleanroom Technician – Radiopharmaceutical Production

About the role

Hiring immediately. Daxor Corporation makes blood volume analysis technology that hospitals use to measure a patient’s blood volume directly, guiding treatment in heart failure, critical care, and surgery. At our Oak Ridge facility we manufacture the iodine-131–labeled albumin injectables used in these tests. We’re hiring a cleanroom production technician to make these sterile products under FDA cGMP, working in ISO 5 (Class 100) laminar flow hoods and following a written batch record.

If you’ve worked in sterile compounding, nuclear pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or as a radiological worker and want to learn the other half, we want to hear from you. We train on radiation safety and on our specific processes.

What you’ll do

  • Manufacture sterile injectable batches per approved batch records in an ISO 5 cleanroom
  • Perform chemical purification and aseptic filling in ISO 5 laminar flow hoods
  • Perform in-process sampling and support release testing
  • Clean and sanitize cleanroom areas and hoods
  • Perform viable and nonviable environmental monitoring
  • Complete gowning qualifications and participate in aseptic process simulations (media fills)
  • Execute IQ/OQ/PQ qualification protocols under QA and engineering direction
  • Run routine equipment checks and calibration verifications per SOP
  • Document all work accurately and in real time (Good Documentation Practices)
  • Follow ALARA radiation safety: dosimetry, contamination surveys, and radioactive waste handling under our Tennessee license

What you need

  • Associate’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or engineering science, or equivalent experience (military, pharmacy, or manufacturing)
  • 1+ year in cGMP pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing, cleanroom operations, sterile/USP 797 compounding, or nuclear pharmacy
  • Comfort following written procedures exactly and documenting everything
  • Able to work fully gowned for extended periods, stand for long stretches, and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Willingness to participate in radiation dosimetry and bioassay monitoring
  • Authorized to work in the US (we are unable to sponsor visas)

Preferred

  • Radiological worker training or experience handling radioactive materials
  • Aseptic processing experience, including media fills and gowning qualification
  • Wet chemistry lab experience
  • Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ or validation protocols

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
